stuck removing cams can anyone help me?
So I am doing timing belt, seals, valve cover gaskets and the cam adjuster friction plates. Got the drivers side done no issues.
Started on the passenger side and realized my torx socket will not clear the frame on the back most bearing cap. Anyone have a work around for this?
I am gonna head to advanced auto to see if they have a stubby but until then if you have been there done that i would greatly appreciate some advice.
Can't drive anyway... waiting for crankcase breather kit to come. It was super brittle and cracked into a million pieces when removed . Ah well.
Thanks everyone,
Jess

Nevermind. i just bought and extra torx and cut it off with a grinder and used an open end wrench to remove it. just won't be able to torque it to 7ftp when putting it back together.
Figure one 1/2 of a cap torqued by hand won't hurt anything.
