After reviewing the REVO site and talking to them directly, it does seem like they have found a way to flash a B5 ECU. It hasn't been that way before because of some mumbo jumbo which makes it too hard to do. Its a very recent change according to Revo, so if you get that flash you will have to let us know how that goes. You would be the first i know of that has a flash loaded B5 1.8T.

For the record though, all other companies still CHIP the B5 ECU.

ok... thank you and i will let u know... although i have no experience with other companies and ecu upgrades i dont know how informative my review can be but i will try...

and see how easy this was once someone took the time to verify my information is correct instead of arguing with me and telling me im wrong

well ****, I can't let phil beat me to it... I wanted revo b4 but they couldnt do 00-older so i passed! Time to call global garage!

Im afraid you're wrong (which is very rare lol). But plenty of companies flash B5's, and have been for awhile, including AEB's. Thats all I want to say, I dont want to contribute to this thread otherwise lol.

I apologize, but you do have a way of arousing other members that no one else does, i would describe your demenor as "abrasive" at best. Try to keep the "******" comments etc. to a minimum. That goes for other members as well.
