Straight Pipes Or??
Stupid Question but...
I have a 1998 Audi A4 2.8l Quattro 30v V6. And i want that extra deep sound, however im not in the financial situation at the moment to pay for a $600 exhaust system. Is there any way i can get test pipes? straight pipes (done by a metal shop) or hollow out my catalytic converter to get some extra sound out of it? i drove past a RS4 today and its rumble gave me goosebumps
So the jist of it it.. whats the cheepest and easiest way of making my car get that deeep mean sound!
any ideas?
anything helps! thank you!

if you want it to be loud cut your mufflers off and weld in a straight piece of pipe. you can leave the cats alone. i work on a 99 a4 wagon 2.8 and he had done that and trust me its louder than you will want. if you want a decent sound i rec. going as close to the cat converter as you can and weld in a cherry bomb glass pack. get rid of your mufflers and put on weld on resonated tips on the back.
