Default Stop Leak additives

I was wondering if it's safe to use a cooling system stop leak or power steering stop leak or even an oil stop leak with our cars? I know the fluids themselves need to be Audi specific, but I was wondering if anyone had success using a product like this. Thanks.

I could be totally wrong with this but I'm just gonna relay what somebody told me when I wanted to use that on my 64 chevy i built. They said it basically turns into concrete inside whatever system you put it in and should only be used if you're gonna replace the part that's leaking. I don't know if there is any truth in what he said but I wouldn't risk it.

I also have a the power steering fluid leak and have been adding the stuff i got from the vw dealership. A 20 dollar bottle of that stuff is lasting me at least 6 months if not the entire year so no real pressure to take it in yet although it is super annoying. Hopefully its just a hose or something easily identified

I was doing some research and found that most stop leak additives for oil are bad for your engine because they lower the lubricity of the oil which increases friction. As for coolant and power steering, the concern I have is about the PS pump since it runs only mineral hydraulic fluid. My rack is leaking from one side which explains the PS fluid loss. The oil leaks from the front which is probably an oil seal. The coolant leaks from the coolant flange which I will be attempting to replace with new o rings soon. I just don't have the money to fix the PS and oil leak problem anytime soon. What do you guys suggest? Just keep topping off the proper fluids or try a product like this??

I wouldn't trust that stuff in my car at all, but that just my 2 cents...
