I have a squeeking sound from the front of the engine. I hear it around the fan, could it be the fan clutch on its way out? timing belt was change ruffly 7months ago, so it has all new accessary belts,watherpump etc. anyother ideas of where this sqeek soundcan be coming from?

 

are you sure its a squeak and not a slight squeal, 2 things come to mind either the serpintine belt is loose and the tensioner needs adjustment or what is more likely the problem since you say its around the mechanical fan, it is actually the bearing on the fan clutch i had the same noise least year, i took a syringe with high temp grease and injected it righ through the holes closet to the fan and it stopped, its been good for almost a year now, really the way i tested this was i took some water and poured it on the fan clutch it would stop squealing/squeaking for a few seconds until the water would evaporate.
