my speedo sensor went yesterday, and after a quick call to my tuner he said its a common problem. im just wondering how much i should look at spending on this, im not sure if i wanna get it done by a shop that tunes cars cause the rate is a little high, but my regular mechanic is able to do the job also. so just anyone thats had this done or know someone thats had it done, how much was it?? if my tuner comes out with the right price ill probably take it there, cause id like to bring him as much of my business as possible, so when i go BT, mabye hell go easy on me haha.

 

no ones had this go bad b4? i got a quote of $90. sounds a little pricy for a $15 part but they said its the labor that brings the price up ($70/hr!!).

 

I believe it is driver side of the transmission. If you can get under the car, you should able to change it by yourself.
