Lag is normal up to about 2500-3k rpms. Are you auto or manual? If you are auto then it'll feel even more lagy along with your DBW. A chip really will make you understand what turbo lag means. If you think it's bad, take a ride in a BT equiped car. I don't get any more lag with speedtuning than what I get with GIAC. Although I think the test pipe shaves a few hundred rpm's off the lag.

Auto doesnt seem as smooth as the GIAC but happy with paying 160 rather than 700

Since when is GIAC $700? They dropped their price recently from $500 to $350. If anything GIAC is less smooth for me. One very noteable difference that I almost hate to admit is that ST pulls all the way to redline where GIAC craps out about 1k earlier.

Yikes. Thats way off if all you had done was the chip. I'm confused though.. If you had GIAC, why did you go with Speetuning?

GIAC is $300 plus installation....there should be no lag with the speedtuning chip....mine is very smooth....it has a factory feel to it...

maybe you are having a boost issue...N75, DV, wastegate?

hope it smooths out...

did you change out your spark plugs?

you should be running some NGK BKR7E gapped to .28, this may be part of your problem
