Bose or nonBose, there's a built-in amp in the left rear deck speaker for the rear speakers. The front gets powered by the HU.

I see. Ok There are no bose logos on the speaker grills. No bose on the radio when I turn it on. Also its a 1999.5 and doesnt even have a cd player. Only cassete and radio. So Im gonna assume its not bose?

Edit:

I believe the non-bose have 4" in the front. Is there like an adapter so I can put 5 1/4" in the front instead of 4 "? If not can I use these?

Is there a problem with switching out components to 2 way like those? I couldnt find any 4 " component only 2 way. If I can use those speakers then do I have to disconnect the tweeters or can I keep the tweeters and also run those 4" 2 way?

How did you mount the 5.25 then? Is it component or coaxial? Cuz if i get coaxial 4 inch can i still have the stock tweeter hooked up along with the 4 inches built in tweeter?

There's 2 wires(a negative and positive) in each speaker. You can leave the tweeters the way they are and should still work.

I'm sure you'd come up with something to mount the speakers. I had no plan prior to buying the replacement speakers. I took it off then just came up with the idea on the spot. Dont forget to consider the depth of the speakers....

you want a component system or just a 4inch mid since you already have a tweeter the only thing the component will do is separate frequencies for you.

I see that but none of those are brands i know. I want like an alpine or jl speaker. But they only make 2 way coaxial they dont have just a seperate mudrange speaker. But maybe ill grab those power acoustics cuz theyre so cheap.
