Spark Plugs 1.8T
Ive read so many different opinions on what people say you should use for spark plugs. Some say copper tops some say no so I'm not sure what I should get. I have a 2000 A4 1.8T. I do plan to chip it but probably not until summer time so basically plugs for a stock engine right now with minor upgrades within the next month of a basic air box mod (maybe) and cat back exhaust (before the end of the month). Let me know what you guys recommend.
What are the stock plugs? I know they are NGK but thats it.

Copper plugs are best if you stay on top of plug changes because they wear out much faster than iridiums. And for like $2 a pop you could replace them every 2nd oil change and not think twice about it. If you foul them, then whatever you just wasted $8, if you foul a set of iridium plugs you're out like $30.

So every 7k miles or so? These cars go every 3500 miles per oil change, correct?

Each site that allows you to input your car to make sure they fit says they do not. Weird. I obviously take your word though. Just something I noticed.

Ok thanks for all the great information! I just ordered 4 of them for $9, so glad I walked out of Autozone today and came here. Saved me $40.

Instead of creating a new thread for this simple question is G12 coolant the correct coolant for my year car? I see some say do G12+ or even about that. I'm not sure whats in there right now but I have to change the thermostat so it will all be out when I do that.
