well my transmission is only being paid for my parents cause its the holidays and ive been spending money on my family.. im sure once the holidays are over my bank accnt will be pretty much empty from me paying my parents back.. my parents never pay for anything for me.. i think the only thing i got from them was college cause they paid for my sister to go into college.. the day i turned 16 my parents told me to get a job.. i did and have been paying for everything since....

 

^ Thats the way it should be. I did the same thing. I had three jobs in college to pay for all my ****.

 

^^^ yup same here! started workin @ 14. now im in college and paying for pretty much all my own stuff (my mom does help me a lil here and there). it kinda sucks at first, but its better that way. i even feel like a have some kind of advantage over people who's parents buy them everything!

 

hah i feeel the same way. i bought my whole car myself. worked for like a year saving while driving this 93 ford truck that i paided 1k for hah. im just getting this exhaust for christmas.

 

yea... i paid for part of my christmas present, and i still dont get it till christmas day

and yea i bought my car too. it feels good not to have car payments... just insurance which isnt bad after getting 2 discounts. going to suck when i sell my car cause i know i wont be able to stop myself and im going to wind up with an evo or an sti.. ill eventually learn that i dont need that much power........... HAH YEA OK!

haha... my mom is a secretary so she basically only knows how to work email and excell

 

the rents just bought me new axels, new Meyle heavy duty complete control arm kit, with tie rod ends, and a sway bar will be on the way around christmas, so I'm happy about that. Unfortunately, my parents pay for nothing either, Im paying for half of everything and those are my xmas gifts but at least the audi will be mechanically sound. Insurance sucks for an 18 year old at $211.65 per month.
