when my front o2 sensor went bad I had blackened gas spitting out of the tail pipe. somewhat rich. That crushed my mileage. One universal o2 later and all is good.

 

Same here, 20 min and $75 for the universal 02 sensor

 

hey redline... you should call me up or facebook me or something... i have access to a VAG COM (krystalbluea4 has one and hes really cool i have his spring compressors (damned things) right now actually... he has helped me with many things!!! )

and do you have MAF cleaner? sould try that?? or could be a boost leak and your not actually going into limp mode your just not boosting as much cause you cant!!

and are we still on for sat? if so... my buddy from college JUST finished his GTI VR6 turbo build and says its fast as fk and hes gonna be there and wants to go for a quick cruise or something if we have time (sorry this is off topic somewhat)
