Default Someone stop me..

..from smashing everything i can see in my engine bay.
Finally got my new coolant flange in and havent been able to get the block>flange section to stop leaking after working on it for the last 6 hours.

I've tried reconnecting it, checking the o ring, using the old o ring. nothing

Someone please save my sanity and tell me they know what to do in this situation.

This is why you don't make threads stressed

But really though does anyone have any tips? I can't even seem to tighten the bolts down anymore

Have you tried teflon tape on the threads? It sounds like you might have stripped it a little and the teflon tape might give you just enough mass to bite into something.
