Default Some suggestions...

So this is interesting. I have a 1.8tq tip and it is doing this weird throttle thing. The only way I can describe it is like a VTEC (ugh, i know) sorta thing. My turbo will boost full, loose about 2-3 pounds for 2-3 seconds, then launch with full power like normal. I'm just don't have a clue. It'll hold at that lower psi for a couple seconds, then come back to life. It's just too weird. I tried 1/2 throttle, full throttle etc. and nothing seems to make a difference. Any suggestions? Is my transmission slipping? Even better explanation, it feels like when you dump the clutch and the ESP is still on. You know, how it feels bogged down for a second or two and then it reengages? I just have no clue.

sounds like a vac issue or surging turbo... i would check all your lines

i know i had a huge issue with some of the lines under the mani on the 112 valve, but my last and biggest leak was at the egr, just be careful taking the hose off the 112 or you could brake them like i did

Are you running a stock BPV or is it an aftermarket valve?

It could be. I know they tend to give that type of issue. If you have a normal BPV you might want to throw it in and see if the issue goes away.
