Question Some Questions for you guys!

Hey all, Scobeywan here. i just recently purchased an audi A4 Quattro and am asking for a little advice. i'm willing to drop some money into this baby so i want to know, what are some of the higher end parts i can buy, performance-wise, etc... ill list somethings i want to work on, and some things that it actually needs (will be denoted with an asterisk *)

*Brake Pads

Cold air intake/ or just filter

Exhaust

Steering/Handling Upgrades

Tires

also, best fluid to use that will make my car run smoother and last longer (i.e; oil, tranny fluid, etc...)

hope to hear from some of you guys soon! thanks for all the help

Intake won't do much but give you a different look

The best "bang for your buck" is:

Chip / Flash it
Exhaust (turbo back if you can afford it)
New Spark Plugs gapped correctly
Boost Gauge (gotta know if you got leaks)

Then save the rest of your $$ for things that break. Eventually you will need new TREs, CA and sensors here and there

Short of upgrading Turbo and all that, the above will get you the best HP gain

That is, if you have a turbo and you're not a 2.8 guy. If you're a turbo guy, I agree with JoBu. Save money for **** that's gonna break.

so yeah its N/A.

and when you say "chip/flash it" what exactly does that mean?

also, given that it's the 2.8 would i be able to get a turbo kit for it?

OK ignore 1/2 my suggestions then LOL I was giving info for a Turbo A4

Chip / Flash - Add an Upgrade Chip to the ECU or depending on year it requires a "flash". Companies like GIAC, APR, VAST all offere Flash / Chip options.

Usually NA 2.8 would be a SuperCharger not Turbo
