Many thanks to local AudiZine member 00black1.8t for use of tools, garage space and doing most of the work.

Nice drop!

I'm loving it. What's next for the car?

Next up is clear corner mod and a DDM 5000k HID kit. Kit came in Friday so hopefully I can find time this weekend. I may also black out the grille trim then as well.

I can't wait to see it with CC. It's gonna look even hotter!

Which one did you go with? 35W or 55W?

are you content with this drop? im in the SAME boat as you (probably) were... im from MN so i dont think a race spring will be any good for me, but i want to go low too... so im thinking about the same setup as you have...

does anyone know if i were to get some aftermarket sport shocks, with aftermarket sport srpings, would i sit lower than if i got aftermarket sport springs with oem sport shocks?

let me know! thanks!!! (im sitting OEM non-sport now)

The shocks will determine how hard/soft the ride will be. Most of the height adjustments come from the springs.

i am happy with the drop, if it was a weekender car I would've gone with race springs but its my DD and the roads here suck so I compromised a bit. i got the springs brand new and bought OE sport shocks from an AZ member for less than $100 (springs too but i didnt need them lol). Before install I was ~27" ground to fender in front and ~27.5" in back, after I'm at 25 7/8" all around.

better pic of the gap. (not that you sick bastards)

ok cool. you should take a pic in 2 weeks again, and post it to this thread, see if it drops at all (just curious... everyone says they do settle slightly)

i like it though! (my 18"s look bigger than yours do for some reason... idk?

That's the exact height I want for my car, looks really nice. I'm getting 18's too and seeing your car looking like that just makes me that much more eager. What percent tint is that?
