some more Bullsh*t in the audi, HELP!
Yesterday i drove my car to the beach, this was pretty much the longest trip i have made in the a4, anyways when i got back home i decided to go out for some coffe with some freinds, after that i get in my car drive about 500 ft. and check engine light starts blinking... soo im like WTF??? so i started to pull over and the car shut off, tried to start it and no luck, tried about 5 times... soo my friends and me pushed it to a parking lot nearby (This car is heavy as ****!, it was almost impossible to do) anyways there i called my dad to come pick us up, and before we left he tried to start it and it ran, just really really rought (sounded like it wasent running on all cylinders..)ok, early today i went out to were my car was and Vagged it and here are the codes I got:
1. P1602 ECM Power supply terminal 30, Voltage too low
35-01 - Intermitent
2. P1338 Camshaft Position Sensor open circuit or short to B+ (Bank 1)
35-00
3. P0300 Random/ Multiple Cylinder misfire detected
35-00
4. P0301 Cylinder 1 misfire
35-00
5. P0303 Cylinder 3 misfire
35-00
6. P0302 Cylinder 2 misfire
35-00

Holy ****. You're misfiring on three cylinders? This isn't going to be an ordinary "check your spark plugs" type of fix. I'm not exactly sure what happened, so I'll let the more knowledgeable help, but here's a free bump anyway

thanks yeah thats what i was thinking maybe a Camshaft positioning sensor, but the huge problem here is that i can find one like the on my car has... it's kinda wierd because the one they sell for this car everywher is different and looks like this:

but the only thing that looks like a camshaft positioning sensor in my car looks like an Oxygen sensor..

never mind im an idiot i was looking in the wrong place! ok i found it, i will try to get the sensor at a junkyard so i can replace it with the one in my car see if that does anything!
( of course the used sensor will only be temporary until i order a ne one and it arrives..)

seems obvious, but did you check the sensor on your car to make sure its plugged in and what not? the code suggests that an open circuit is a possibility, so make sure it didnt just come unplugged, and check the applicable fuses (i dont know which ones they are).

Thats more likely than the cam sensor. You can straight un-plug the sensor and it won't miss-fire like that. The fact that it stopped doing it after the engine cooled down after a while makes me thing that the oil passage to the tensioner is blocked or something like that. It could still be electrical, but i doubt its the CMP sensor, that never fixes anything from my experience.
