Default So what is the pupose exactly...

..of the SAI pump?

I can't think of a reasonable explanation of why it's in our cars.

Apparently my 'vacuum cleaner' failed and now i have a CEL.

Is there a way to remove this useless mechanism and also eliminate the CEL?

See mine just busted when my car slid into my dad's truck overnight. Way simpler than taking all that crap out.

if you don't plan on going bt at all.... go with speed tuning as they are cheap as ****(iirc)
they also have a ko4 file iirc
if you are going to go with something bigger than a k04 then go talk to clint.... he is a unitronics dealer but if you are a hater he can get you another tune maybe
