so im looking for a left front side fender but i need help please
my current left side fender has a dent, no paint is damaged or anything, im curious to know if this dent can be repaired if i were to do it myself, (the dent is about a hand size length but its a bit clumpy looking) but anyways if i were to do this myself would i have to remove the fender? and if so, what tools do i need to do the job?
i found this one on ebay >>
NEW PRIMERED FENDER STEEL LEFT AUDI A4 QUATTRO CAR PART | eBay
this should be it..but what would anyone recommend? doing the job myself of buying the new one, or if anyone knows of a better more money friendlier place, please help me

usually if the paint isn't creased you can pop a dent out with a sharp whack from a rubber mallet or your hand. It won't be perfect, but it'll look better. If the paint IS creased, you're pretty much fucked.
Before you buy a fender from eBay, i would suggest checking the classifieds for part outs. You'd probably be able to get a cheap fender that's already painted the same color as your car.

What I would do is try to find a part out that's already painted. Silver is the most common color as far as B5's go, so you shouldn't have to look too hard. If you're a 2000 that would be facelift silver which I *believe* is LY7W. Somebody else correct me if thats wrong please?
If you'd lilke to double check, the paint code should be listed on a sticker inside your spare tire well, along with the interior colors and several other neat little tid bits of info.

yeah go to junk yards i got lucky and got 2 fenders the same color as my car for 60. good paint too just had to clean them up! paint code is in your trunk down by the spare wheel if you want to check it. probably a few shades of it but silver is silver.... just the metallics will be different
