So I just spent a SHITLOAD of money on my car today...
I got a check for 16G's in the mail about 2 weeks ago. Supposed to help with college. But of course, I'm stupid, so I blow $1,501 on parts for my car in one afternoon computer sitting. [&:][&:][&:]
I'm kinda regretting it, but I guess I can always send some of them back.....if I have the will power. And if you're wondering what I bought for it: Evoms V-Flow Cone Filter/Heat Sheild setup, Alcantara Shift Boot from Shiftstyle, Momo Carbon Fiber Shift ****, JHM Shortshifter kit from Eurocode, New Southbend Stage 3 Clutch Kit (thanks mike at DTH for hooking me up with a sweet deal), and a Vagcom Cable/setup from rosstech (spent the extra $41 on overnight+saturday shipping so I can get it saturday instead of waiting till monday afternoon. I'm in desperate need to adjust my TB so I can try my Giac, because for some reason, my car won't do the TBA by itself. I can drive it now, but when I go to give it gas and get up past 3k RPMS, its starts lurching and bogging and bucking and being all crazy till I let off the gas, and now I've got the full time CEL. First CEL ever in my car!!!

basically. At the time I was kinda dissapointed in myself so I decided to make a thread to let everyone how lame I am.
I was also kinda excited that I'm getting a whole bunch of goodies for my car. This thread = FAIL. Let it die...

well of course you know that you should have put the money towards school, but if you're going to put it towards your car.. why not fix it before you put money into a clutch kit??

did anyone mention you're an idiot yet? I can't believe people are condonig this. you spent money on a car that at best will last you 5 years and cost you more money instead of an education that will last a lifetime and make you money.

it was a G out of 16k... if he has any type of occupation I am sure he will still make school payments and if not someone else has him covered. If it ment a shift **** or college, I don't think anyone is that dumb.

Exactly, I know plenty of people who used a small bit of thier college loans on other things (cars, tv's, etc.) and they still graduated on time and some still had money left over after they graduated. I think calling this guy an "idiot" was uncalled for.
