i used my bros air tools...it kinda was like a dremel but like 10x stronger and faster....
so thats why it came out not so good...and i also used a circle file thing, like a screwdriver but yea a file...

yea dude thats not a dad idea with the bondo i like the black on tan, makes that **** POP!!!
but a buddy of mine is sending me a spare vent so yea, my bros gonna do it for me, hes a body man so he will do that **** to perfection, so yea

 

mines in the drivers side vent. like i said earlier i used a dremil to make the hole. then sand paper to clean it up and a file to make the finial touches it came out pretty good.

 

Well - it does look fine with the gray. I have a few pieces of my interior painted black.


Nova - I did my old A4 as well and put it exactly where you have yours. Basically I cut it out with a Dremel the same way you did, but did it a little at a time til it fit perfectly.

i think what i did wrong was rush into it and not take my time....
personally i like the set-up you had first brrman...why did you change it? it looked pretty good to me?

 

Those are 2 different cars and just thought I would try something new on the newer avant... I kinda like the center vent better, but hey everyone's different.
