My motor mounts looked fine before I removed them. No fluid or anything, then I took them out..

Don't hear too often about throttle bodies going bad. How come you need a new one?

FCPgroton has a group buy going on for a full front control arm set, all four uppers, 4 lowers, 2 tie rods, & 2 sway bar end links starting at 205 shipped. It's on Audizine.com's forum in the Group buy section. That takes care of 3 of those 4 items. not sure why you would need a new TB but that shouldn't be too expensive, quite a bit less than $1000, leaving you plenty of money for a Snub mount and motor/tranny mounts. Ringer-racing has motor mount packages. For my V6 it was going to be like 315 for 034 engine & tranny mounts.

Just get the TPS. You don't need to spend the extra money on a throttle body itself. Check the classifieds - there are cars being parted out.

with the stern mount could you keep the stock snub cage without trimming the mount at all?

The cage isn't the problem, its the stud on the intercooler hard pipe that the snub mount sits on. There's a little ridge on the inside diameter of the snub mount. I'm not sure if its from the casting when it was made or if it's there on purpose to keep the mount from sliding off the stud on the hard pipe, but you just have to trim it slightly to get it on there. Not a big deal by any means

What I mean though is the snub actually hitting the cage, as in being too big for the cage.

I bought an APR snub mount without the cage and I had to shave down a large part of it to get it to fit right. Now it fits but its basically squeezed into the cage so that its constantly touching both the top and bottom and gives me terrible vibrations.

Ohhhh gotcha. Yeah I've heard that about APR snub mounts. My stern piece does not do that. You can actually reach up and wiggle it around pretty easily.
