wow thats ugly dude, ill b sure to get a real good look over mine then. and if they are bad i will add it to my list of $1000 of other maint. my car needs not being a smart *** just saying lol. i need upper control arms, a throttle body, all four sway bar links, suspension bushings. damn near the whole 9 yards

The cage isn't the problem, its the stud on the intercooler hard pipe that the snub mount sits on. There's a little ridge on the inside diameter of the snub mount. I'm not sure if its from the casting when it was made or if it's there on purpose to keep the mount from sliding off the stud on the hard pipe, but you just have to trim it slightly to get it on there. Not a big deal by any means

What I mean though is the snub actually hitting the cage, as in being too big for the cage.
I bought an APR snub mount without the cage and I had to shave down a large part of it to get it to fit right. Now it fits but its basically squeezed into the cage so that its constantly touching both the top and bottom and gives me terrible vibrations.
