Snub mount installation help

Snub mount installation help
Is this snub mount worth installing? It is slightly smaller than the original. I don't see how it can take up the shifting slack with this much space between it and the frame.
Installation help:
I put the snub mount on the disassembled metal holder.
I cannot fit the frame and the metal holder with the mount between the oil pan and front bumper.
Update: It was worth installing. See other reply for installation.

Is this snub mount small???
Update:
Thank you for your help. I used a prothane mount (Rabbit Golf 22-501) paid 19.95, but saw later for 12.95. Much better than stock Audi, which used to bounce the shifter back and forth like a rubber ball. Now there is only some movement with no vibration. Cured the feel like the engine was about to fall out on high revs. I had to hammer and twist on the new, (and oiled) mount. I suggest putting one of the the hex allen bolts into hole to avoid interference, or you can hammer it in after.
I used the raise the motor method, as opposed to the remove the bumper method of installation. Not sure if I would recommend the raise the motor method, because turning the screws in such a narrow area is time consuming. One must have micro tools. One needs an assortment of 8mm allen wrenches and ratchet fittings, the shorter, the better. 13mm micro or wrench with ratchet movement (narrow spaces for working). I jacket up one side of the car. Loosened the mounts from underneath 13mm (not sure if this did anything, or if my mounts are just old and slack). Placed a jack stand with wood under oil pan. Lowered the car onto jack stand. Another jack stand to catch under the suspension for safety.
The motor was then raised so frame and snub on holder twisted in backwards to forwards. Started the engine for alignment after hand tightening the frame. It drove well.

that should be the right one, the only difference in snub mounts between the different models are the size of the hole in the center. i think you have those flipped the wrong way in the pics although they are too close in i cant see.
yes its a pain in the *** to get it in. you sometimes have to loosen the motor mounts and either jack the engine up a tiny bit or backward if you can so you can fit the thing up there. just keep fiddling with it, it will eventually go together.
