Default Snow stall

After driving through some really deep snow my car wouldn't idle it just kept stalling. It did this for about a minute and then it worked fine again. But it did happen multiple times throughout the day only in short periods. I assume that I sucked in snow somewhere. What do you think?

Probably. I remember last winter one of our members, achTTung, posted up that the deep snow he was driving through melted when it hit his rad and engine and all the water caused his serp belt to slip off. Water causes problems.

Well we got about 19" of snow but I wasn't driving through 19". Also under full boost the turbo sounds "wet" and loud, but not like a blown turbo loud.

It keeps randomly stalling out, I checked my air filter and it looked pretty ugly could this cause it? Also under full boost my turbo sounds way louder then before, like someone slurping through a straw. It is also hesitant on acceleration. I'm going crazy.

Sounds like you may need to pull the turbo to check it out. How many miles on your car and has your turbo ever been rebuilt or replaced?

Your air filter, if dirty, will need cleaning either way, so go ahead and try it first. I'd also suggest cleaning your MAF sensor.

You're getting toward that time where the unreliable K03 would have to be rebuilt... I'd pull it.

Edit: Not sure why this put my post before yours but it's a response to you saying it was never rebuilt/replaced.

It seems that the stalling only happens sometimes after running boost and it hasn't completly stalled recently just rough idle for a few seconds.

I just had my codes checked but I forgot to write them down. I know I have misfires on all 4 cylinders and something with the MAF causing a lean mixture.
