Default Smoke from under the hood

All right, I've got some thin, whispy white smoke coming from the front left corner of my engine. I replaced my valve cover gasket thinking that might have been it, but that didn't do it. I'm not losing coolant, it has a somewhat metallic smell to it, and I don't seem to be burning any oil (I'm never low when I change it. It could be a really slow oil leak (which is why I assumed the gasket) and I know it's not a crack in the block or anything because my coolant is clean and now I'm stumped. I seem to notice it more if I have the heat or AC on (like when the AC has been running with the defrost so any ideas?

hmm if you notice it more than it could be the fan motor or the fan clutch, also check your freon lvl. also check your other fluids too just in case

you don't need to loose that much coolant to get that whispy smoke....my guess would be that you are loosin a lil bit of coolant....

though I have never thought of coolant as metalic...the only two metalic smells I have smelled in a car are breaks and clutch....I have never had a clutch smoke, but I have had breaks smoke, just not through the corner of my engine...

my guess is coolant...gl!
