Sliding On Ice
#11
I had the same problem 2 nights ago, hit a patch of ice and swayed quite a bit. My cousin said "when your car slides it slides". I have no problems with suspension or brakes. My ABS module needs to be rebuilt as well. Also may have to do with my 4 different types of tires. The slide was easy to recover, just shifted to neutral and little corrections. Wonder how much this had to do with the non-existent ABS.

Well i'm thinking that i probably have a problem with one of the rear calipers not fully releasing. I think i'm going to have both rears replaced and do new pads and rotors and see if that helps, it's a pretty crazzy feeling when the entire time your driving down the road on packed snow or ice the rear end is sliding all over lol. And since we have already got 82" of snowfall this year I need to figure this out pretty soon. Thanks a lot guys!!

lol yeah they plow once in a while but not nearly as often as they should, I bought this as a winter car and it does a real nice job in the snow, i drove through my friends yard the other day that had about 18" in it and it went through it like a tank. And I like the snowmobile idea
