Short shifter is in!!
Finally! Almost 3 hours to get the stupid thing in there! If my "circlip tool" didn't break trying to get that clip out it would have been a lot quicker.... oh well, you live and learn
Anyways, it's the typical Ebay unit.... it makes a huge difference! Now let's hope it holds up

Quick question for those of you that have the ebay ss.....
How "notchy" are your shifts? I didn't spend a ton of time to dial it in once it was in the car. I put it in and made sure that all of the gears engaged, tightened it down, drove it and it seemed fine....... but after a couple of days the "notchiness" is a little annoying and I am wondering if there is some adjustments that I can/should make to resolve this. Everything works great with it besides this, it really cleaned up the slop and there isn't as much side-side play when in gear like some of the reviews I have read.

Well by "notchiness" I mean that it isn't a smooth slide from gear to gear.... If I am in 1st going into 2nd (lets say), it's like there is a notch into neutral and then another notch into second... not just a smooth slide from one to the other. It's hard to explain, just wanted to see if people would say "that's how it is" or "go adjust it more"..... I think I am going to take it apart tomorrow and mess around with it some more.... we'll see.

yeah mine notchy too, its just a thing since now the shift lengths are shorter, and the rubber and plastic parts are now polyurathne and steel. your just going to have to get used to it, you can get the solid shift linkage and getting into gear will be smoother but you have to think if you really want to spend $80
