Shimmy after shift?

Shimmy after shift?
Well after trolling for a few days and not finding an answer I decided to register and ask if this is control arm link bushings? Or possibly a diffrent problem.
Sometimes at 1/2 throttle or so right after I shift normally i'll get a slight shimmy for a half second then it will leave. Also happens on rare occasion leaving stoplight. Its wierd because it drives straight as an arrow for miles I don't have to touch the wheel. Or did other A4's that had bad control arm bushings behave the same or is this possibly a axle problem or maybe a miss?
Thanks guys!
(pics of my new car .. only had it 3 days!)
(the wheels are clean now BTW)

Could be your mounts or your axles really. Usually the mounts will give excessive play and slop. Get it up in the air and check it out and inspect the front drive axles and all the bushings to be safe. How does the clutch feel?
Did I miss how many miles you have on your A4? I would suggest doing the timing belt package before 70k. If your not sure when it was done do a carfax and run the vin to see if it was at a dealer. Looks like it was from your pics. Call up the service dept and have them fax you a report of the work or just ask when the timing service was performed. Most places will work with you. If you still can't find out change it asap. You do not want to ruin your engine on your new ride. . Congrats, and enjoy Audi life .
I did miss it lol. 79k. Well it's a toss up if they worked it into the normal service that is coming up. If it was serviced at all. I think the service is at 80 or 85k if I remember so....
Bushings give excessive play and slop...Ugh long day.

I'll run a carfax on it here in a minute. I'm going to go out and put it in the air and inspect those bushings and axles. The clutch feels good. Its diffrent then what i'm used to, but it works.
