Default shift *****

I'm installing a short shifter, and I'd like to get a new **** too. But I am having a lot of trouble finding a shift **** that is threaded to fit my car, or even a similar car. All I can find are those cheap ones with the adapter bushings that are made to fit all cars. I don't care about spending extra money, I just want a quality shift **** that will screw right on my car. Anyone know where I can find one?

Also it would be really cool if someone could let me know how to remove the center console, more specifically, this part.

I have the pre-facelift piece (far right) and it needs to be removed to install the shifter.

shouldn't. just pop the shift trim off and you can see the two bolts from there.

our ***** are 12x1.25. you don't need to remove the whole thing to take our the shifter. it's annoying but you can do it just by taking off the boot

the whole installation isn't too bad. takes some time but nothing really difficult

the wood trim plate pops off with the boot attached. even so just popping the boot off is enough, i have my boot off now and can see the two bolts you need.
