i have on of these and like it much better then the stock one (which i have laying around in my tool box if anyone needs it)

hahaha yea, gloves and a porsche would do it. and i was thinking about one of those jhms, didn't look like it'd be too different from the stock tho

They do, but that doesn't mean you can't use the **** still. The shift patter is just an insert that snaps into the top of the ****. Also you can buy aftermarket S4/RS4 STYLE shift ***** with different shift patterns on them.

Thats true i forgot about that, grabbing that in the winter time reminds me of that scene in A Christmas Story when Ralphy's friend gets his tongue stuck to that pole lol

i would just save a little extra money and get the jhm short shifter. i heard that it feels really nice, and then you will worry a lot less about the feel of the ****
