Default sellin my baby

yuup ive made a final decision. its just to impractical for me right now. i love the car and really dont wanna see it go, but if i keep it that means a summer with pretty much no money, and at this rate no gas even.

this was my first car that i actually loved and cared about so its gunna suck to see it go. but it left a lasting impression and i wont be away from audi for too long. besides i dont think im goin to far from the family, im probably gunna pick up a VW mkIV golf (1.8 of course). ill keep you guys posted on what happens, and even if i get a VW, or mabye even any car, ill still try to stay an active member of this forum. theres a bunch of really good people on here.

That's a tough call to make, but I know how you feel. These cars take a lot to maintain. At least you might get a VW, so you'll still be in the family. I think if I had to sell my Audi, I'd definately get a VW too.

yeah. i know its not much cheaper to get a vw, the thing is, my a4 needs a lot of work, which i dont have the money for. if i get a new(used) car i can start a little fresher so i wont take a serious hit to the wallet. ive had enough moneyto take care of the a4 so far but a new motor would sink me in debt for a while.

lol so you're getting rid of the pricey 1.8 maintinence for another car with a 1.8? sounds silly to me. get a honda or something if you want low maint. and low cost IMO

Idk about everywhere, but around where I live, VW parts are much cheaper from the dealer than the sameAudi parts. The VW dealer charges over $30 less an hour for labor too..

Not that you want to go to the dealer anyways

He didnt have problems with maintence, he had problems with the engine and his rebuild didnt go so well. With a new start, he shouldnt have any problems.

Just go find yourself a nice GTI like a 20th or just a newer one with a AWP engine code and you will be set if you ever plan to go BT in the future.
