Default Secondary electric fan problems

I just replaced the whole fan unit, (after testing with direct power and fan not working, went to wreckers and bought new unit which powers up fine with 12 volts), turn the car on with ac and nothing, checked the 40 and 5 amp fuse, both ok, removed the thermo switch wiring harness, tried jumpering both (brown to red for low.. etc. I can hear the relay clicking, but power not going to the fan)

Now, where is that relay located, and is there 2 relays? or just one. anyone had this problem before??

Just an update, problem was with actual harness, push the wires more in, and voila, got the high speed to run when jumpered, low speed won't run when jumpered now, atleast im getting power now

I guess the low speed relay is gone.. where is that located??

Thank,
Tony

In the stickies at the top of the forum there is a relay panel breakdown. That should show you where it is.

You replaced the fan, but did you replace the fan control unit? I can't remember if a 99 has one...
