Default Seafoam - Anyone tried and does it work?

I live all the way down the bottom of the world and have only recently heard about seafoam (not sold in New Zealand) and have seen some guys who have treated their cars with this on YouTube but no one has ever said whether it works.

Anyone on this forum used this before and if so what did you think??

plenty of users here have tried it. personally, when I see all the smoke start billowing out, I know it's got to be doing something! The 1.8T is known to have potential sludge problems, so I know it can only help...

I vote to do it... (I personally have done it twice).

Are you old enough and geeky enough to remember the first Star Trek movie?

Remember the old lady in the hospital?: "Doctor gave me a pill, and I grew a new kidney!"

Seafoam works that well.

Worked great for me. She felt like she had finally blown her nose after the Seafoam.

2 cans, 1 in the gas (full tank), half in the crank, half in the intake. Change oil when gas tank is almost empty.

You should really clean your plugs real good, or just replace them after the intake treatment. Possibly change your fuel filter after the fuel treatment. Definitely change your oil within 100 miles of the crankcase treatment. And maybe take a few shots of it yourself during this process for good measure But again you might need to change out a few things after that one too.
