Seafoam on a 2.8

RE: Seafoam on a 2.8
If you have a 30v, there is a bracket on the top of the engine, near the rear, with several solenoids on it. Look down and behind it, and you'll see two vacuum lines coming into a Y-shaped piece (that's the suction pump). Each line's outside diameter is a little less than 3/4" (so you know which ones you're looking at). You can undo either of those lines and use it for Seafoam. Each of them has an Audi one-time-use clamp on it, which you will have to destroy to remove, so make sure you have a replacement screw clamp on hand before starting.
If you have a 12v, it's a little farther toward the passenger side, but still in the same main location. It would help if you went to your profile page and made a signature including the specs for your car (see mine below as an example) - that way we can answer your questions more readily in the future.

Firstly, what year is your car? Give us some info.
If it's a 96 (12v) then here's the DIY on it.

This is a pic I took after removing the cover. I am having trouble locating teh vaccuum line to suck seafoam thru. Can anyone point it out for me? Thanks
