sea foam on 2.8 30v

Take off the beauty cover and look at the back of the engine near the top. You'll see a panel in place with a green solenoid and a blue solenoid, and harnesses and lines coming in and out. Right below that, extending out from underneath and pointing rearward, is the suction pump feed hoses. The main one comes straight in, and the secondary enters at an angle from toward the driver's side of the car. They're held on by one-time clamps that have to be cut off and replaced with screw-down hose clamps. Use the primary (coming in straight from directly in front of the firewall) - it should have a lot of suction and will pull the seafoam in quickly.

Sorry, I'm new to this engine and I'm trying to learn. There is a hose probably 3/4 inches in diameter that attaches to the crankcase breather hose in the shape of an "L", then there is another hose just underneath that one, same diameter, which appears to attach to the engine in two places then goes to the firewall and the brake booster. Am I looking too close to the surface of the engine? do I need to "get down in there" and find it? or are these the hoses I need? My audi mechanic told me to use the hose coming off the fuel pressure regulator.

When you take off the beauty cover, on the top left corner theres a metal colored object which I think is the fpr. Connected to that is a vacuum hose. Mine was covered in a green cloth like wrap. The hose connects to a y-pipe. The single tube that comes off that should be taken off and used to suck in the seafoam. Be careful with the tubes though, they could be brittle. Mine broke off when I tried to fiddle with them.
