First time i ever changed a T belt on an audi was in service position, it really wasn't that hard but hey, whatever floats the boat of the person doing the work is fine with me.

When I did it I used this writeup I didnt know about service position till after lol....ACH HIMEL!

it sounds pretty easy! i'll probably do it myself, once i get some $$$...
and i might as well give it some new valve cover gaskets too!!
does anyone know if timing belt job is harder on the 2.8 30V???

its where you tilt radiator forward instead of removing it

OK well does anyone know how i can find someone from AF that lives near the Twin Cities, or in Wisc. that wouldnt mind giving me a hand? (ill pay them of course)

because i reallly want to do this on my own (not take it to a repair shop)

( ive done A LOT of work on cars IE: complete engine overhauls and transmission services but i had knowledgable people working with me to lend me a hand)


SO: are there any threads about where people from AF live at all? i could do a search but you guys probably know idk thanks a lot

where would you recommend getting the kit from?
