Saying goodbye to my A4
It's official, my A4 is totalled out. Now I'm waiting to hear back as to how much they're going to give me (full coverage ftw). I'm really gonna miss her, i put more miles and more money into this car than I ever have for any other vehicle. She was always dead reliable, even when most people told me she wouldnt be, I always tell doubters that these cars are only as reliable as they're owners.
I'll be getting into another Audi for sure, hopefully another B5 with 2 more cylinders, another turbo and rear hatch..

Oh man, I didn't hear what happened? You crashed it?
I'm glad you're okay though. That's the most important part.
It's sad to see her go but at least you're staying in the family. It's good to see you're still around these parts.

Ya I rear ended an F350 with a large trailer hitch. Stupid lady stopped in a continuous lane while I was looking over my shoulder to check if it was clear. Damage wouldve been mostly cosmetic without the hitch, with it my radiator was punched open and shoved back into the fan which was then pushed into the belts. Airbags didn't go off so I had some hope but damage was too extensive, I guess. Insurance is going to pay me ~$7500 for it. I'm also getting a good bonus at work so I should be able to pay cash for the replacement.
