Sad but I want some fun

don't have much experience with Jeeps but from having several friends that have owned them they are a heck of a lot of fun. Huge community out there for upgrades, and mods. Relatively straight forward and easy to work on.
As far as reliability goes, to me, Jeeps seem to run to the extremes of the maintenance/reliability spectrum. Some of my friends have never had any kinds of issues with their Jeep. Seems to run forever, through all kinds of adverse conditions. Others have the complete opposite, just one problem after another. Spends more time in the shop than out. One guy had it so bad that the dealership pretty much gave up on trying to fix it and basically gave him a new one (not literally but they more or less replaced EVERYTHING including the engine).
