They rub on outer fender. There et48 and I'm running 20mm spacers front and rear. I have 8mm I might try on the front today. I think they will catch upright with no spacers.

They will. The 8mm spacers may clear the uprights by half an *** hair. Worth a shot. Mine raped the fenders all the time (2.5" drop). Oh well

No bueno. Still on 20mm wasn't even an *** hair and it was hitting tie rod and upright.
Needed moar tire for traction, now I need less tire for clearance. 215/40/18 should do trick

Okay so I got my tire/Clearence issue figured out. So current wheel tire set up..18x8 et48 msw type 16s with 20mm spacers... I'm running 235/40/18 falken azensis in the rear and a 215/40/18 toyo proxe up front. No rub, car feels great. Got my suspension dialed in to the point I can drive the car fast again.
Getting use to starting slide before the corner instead of mid corner like awd. Feels good, power on feels great. Still adjusting to turn in though.
So today goal is to get control arm kit done up front.
Been driving around with parts in my trunk for a little bit. Time to put them on the car...
And polish the lips of the wheels and try to measure for the harness bar for the four points.

Default Stupid diff bushings

So I was trying to press out diff carrier bushings and the on side was stuck.
Wound up breaking the carrier trying to pop it out with a press.

Picked up new carrier from you pull it yard and started soaking it in penetrant. Well every kind I own, a week ago. Going to try and get it done tomorrow after work.
But I picked up new wheels, not much for chrome. So I'm going to sand them down and do either orange or olive drab green centers with the chrome lips

Better now that I don't have the heavy weight 18s. To hell with all that big wheel ****.
It's good though a handful in the rain. It gets a little sketchy under boost in the wet.
What I really should spend my time doing is figuring out rear diff options. The factory limited slip rear hates me. That's the only down fall to the power the car makes.
Coming out of a comer hard I can feel the diff trying to figure out where to put the power. It's a weird sensation. You can feel the loss of grip on one side and then grip is back and the otherwise is slipping.
Other than that it's good. A lot of fun.
Broke my camera adapter for my go pro. Waiting on new one from hong kong, than I will post some videos.

No haven't thought about BMW parts. I'm working on a 200cs rear diff with the air locker. Been working on getting the drivetrain stabilized. Got my rear diff carrier bushings in and installed

They make a world of difference. Power on feels better corner exits feel a little better.
Still get a little clunk on 1st -2nd shifts.
But it feels good deff worth the 52$
If your doing your carrier bushings I would just buy a second carrier press out old bushings install new and than swap the carriers. Makes life a million times easier. That and I have a spare now invade I do brake one
Also picked up my wheel paint. I have a few thing to do before this Sunday. I'm taking car to vag fair and showing Sunday
