The car doesnt jerk or shake runs smooth, And its more like 3000k after 7k. If it wasnt for my clock blocking the needle it would most likely run laps around the gauge.

Yeah, really its gotta be your cluster, and not the engine speed sensor or anything. If it were the sensor you would probably have a code.
