Rough Idle

it may be too soon still.... but CEL was flashing again, so I guess the misfire is still there.... any suggestions?

vag-com to clear codes, as for the misfire, maybe you shuold pull out your plugs and check them, make sure the gap is correct. anywhere between .028 - .035 should be good. and did u try seafoaming your car?

spark plugs are only a couple of months old but I'll check that out too... My mechanic didn't seafoam it but he used a similar product (forgot the name, sorry). Pumped it through intake and also into gas tank. Car felt great right after but I got a misfire later in the day. Will give it a couple of more days though so it can work itself through the fuel lines and injectors.

What should the idle RPM be.... mine is around 700? is that too low?

hopefully my last update...

coilpack and fuel injectors were ok. Turned out to be just the plugs and wires. So relieved! Plugs were all gooey.... maybe that happened when engine was cleaned out.... hopefully I don't get any more CELs.
