Default Is this the right vacuum hose?

According to the DIYs I've read, the hose for the 30V 2.8 should be around here somewhere. I was directed to the one in the red, but its supposed to have one-time-use clamps on it, so I'm thinking it might be the one in the blue....can anyone chime in on this?

If it's not here, can you show me where it is here....(?)

Appreciated. Thanks again.

that sux....well, in that case I hope someone can post a pic of where it is because I already did the fuel and crank and want to get this done tonight before my oil change Monday morning.

*If you can, please point out in a picture. I've read many descriptions on where it is, and still have no clue.

Jasonnosaj, that circlued in red is EXACTLY the hose to use for the 30v. When you cut the one-time clamp and pull the hose, you'll hear a big purge sound as vacuum is released. I've used that hose on several 30v A4s and on a 30v A6 as well - it's the one you want. Originally I was told to use the one next to it on the driver's side (that's the one coming off the suction pump at an angle, circled in blue) but on my car at least, I didn't have enough vacuum there to draw the seafoam into the engine. I used the one that you circled in red, and it sucked up a coffee mug full of seafoam in about 5 seconds.

Idk how most people do it but a good way to do it is suck it in in small gulps w/o letting it die and then about half way through I would let it suck it in till it dies and let it sit like that over night. It will be really hard to start in the morning but it will soften up all the carbon in the cylinders, valves, and intake.

Well im not sure how most guys do it. I've only done it to a Saturn before cuz the rings were not moving like they are supposed to due to carbon build up. I just do fuel induction treatments on my car. 3 step process where you run one can of solvent straight through the fuel rail and let the car run off it another can through the intake after the mass air and a 3rd can through the gas tank. I don't think it would hurt anything if you got it to suck it into just the intake manifold and not all the little vacuum lines.
