Ok so i found an extra y-pipe on ebay for $15 shipped so i couldn't pass it up. i've had it forever and just now finally decided to do something with it. found an engine enamal color that i really liked so i went ahead and painted it. it turned out really good, paint is very smooth and shinny (pics don't do it justice). i liked it a lot so went ahead and painted a couple other parts, power steering cover and intake snorkel. i like how it looks but afraid it might come off a bit "ricey". what do you guys think?

i got the can right here and it doesn't say the color on it.

it's dupli-color engine enamel that i purchased from advanced auto. the top of the can is like a grey color, that looks a tiny bit metalic. the paint itself looks more metalic than the top of the can...

 

does it have a number on it like DE 16xx or DH 16xx?

 

yes it does, i'm an idiot there was a sticker on the bottom. guess that's what happens when you work on the computer for 10 hours at work
