I'm not sure of the exact years but the first-gen A8 rotors and probably the second-gen as well. I imagine the first-gen TT carriers too. And they do fit under stock 16s - it's tight but they absolutely will fit, as they fit under my 16" winter wheels.

I wish I had the big brake upgrade the day that kid hit my car. If I had the bigger brakes, I would have stopped at least a few inches shorter, and he never would have hit me. Bastards!

If you can make ABS kick in then your tires are the weak link and not your rotors/pads. If you can't make ABS kick in then you do need the upgrade.

The setup is much better then stock, I have been running them for some time now and have no problem stopping my car quickly from 140 mph at the drag strip.

The A4 3.0 uses the same rotor so those can also be used. ECS does have the lowest price I have ever seen on a full kit.

ImTheDevil defend his case quite well but he forgot to meantion something, dude is freaking fat. i, for instance, am light but i still recommend the kit. it's really worth the money. it's saved me countless number of times at intersections when people decide to turn when you're in the intersection. you should definitely get it. i think purems has very good prices too, wait for xmas deals.

Good deal, looks like I'm going with the kit. Anybody have any suggestion for the rear? Or does everyone just keep those stock unless going with diff. calipers?
