Reusing Timing belt tensioner

I've checked several parts sources that I use and none of them list a tensioner as a part that is available - most list a "tensioner roller", and that is included with the kit you linked above. Maybe some 2.8 guys will chime in tomorrow(or later today)

Yah ive searched purems.com blauparts.com and ecstuning.com none of em include the tensioner. And ive tried searchingthe forums but not much on here to find about the 2.8's

I havent been able to find ANY diy's for the 2.8 timing belt either. kinda frustrating

Doesn't help that you can't search 2.8 as a term since it's too short

from the picture of a 2.8 TB(see 13-4) I would say that you do not have a tensioner like the 1.8T and that yours is a tensioner roller, that is included in the kit you linked to.

Managed to run across this. but it says to replace all the timing covers? and the clutch fan bracket and the upper power steering pulley. Im thinkin this is not necessary but just trying to aquire all the info that I can. Whats your input
