hahaha that was funny... now i know driving it on low is bad for fuel pump.. how low is considered bad? i drover yesterday on 1/4 tank to school and i was freaking out cuz i hate letting my gas get that low... so i filled up after class, but still i would rather not drive with less than 1/2 tank

Well, it really varies from car to car since they use different fuel pump/tank setups and all, but 1/4 is probably fine. I wouldn't like to see it go below that, though.

Look, I don't mean to offend the guy, but I think sometimes stern words convey a point better.

I can agree to being minum wage and trying to mod an audi. My A4 hardly ever has more then a half tank and my "miles left to empty" has said 0 and i've driven about 20 more with no problems. Also rims will look nice, mine is the same plain color and rims will set it off.

Matter of fact I just looked this up in the owner's manual the other day. Ghost is right, there is no seperate "reserve" tank. The Tank on a 2.8Q is 15.3 gallons, 1.2 gallons of which is considered "reserve" because its at that point the low fuel light comes on. A perfectly reasonable question, so i say +3, leave the ****** kid alone.

yes leave him alone... but on the same note, the other guy is also trying to get his point accross.. he is worried about modding stuff that needs not be modded now... he could run on fumes with his cool rims, then when his 500 dollar fuel pump goes dead then he will have his car with his cool rims, just sitting there, then blazing up the site asking why his car wont start or stay running once he starts it
