Question Reprogram Display Screen

Here's what I am thinking...

1) Using an OBDII cable and software, you can read real-time data flow of important variables like A/F etc.
2) The display screen on the instrument cluster displays real-time data flow of unimportant variables like MPG

Is it practically possible to reprogram/reverse engineer the display screen to output some vagcom logging variables e.g. A/F?

That would be super awesome. I don't really understand the link either, but I'm reading it in class and only half paying attention to both. Laptops are the worst invention ever.

Mine have been a steady decline. It's really depressing. Engineering school has showed me just how small of a fish I am and just how large the sea is. I liked my little puddle.
