Replacing Wiper Motor..(how big of a pain is it?)
#11
Hey guys I did all this today and my wiper motor was blown. But the new one they gave me I think is the wrong one. It rotates counter clockwise and I'm pretty sure it's supposed to rotate clockwise can someone conferm this for me by looking at theirs. Because right now they stand straight up and wipe downwards hahaha someone shoot me.

Well guy's, I never managed to fix my linkage after all, putting it back together the bit I fixed broke again. Ah well.
New linkage is £90 direct from Audi, no choice but to get it today so an 80 mile round trip to collect. Part no. for the linkage is 8D2955603B, for my RHD model.
Googling the no. brought up this foreign diag of the system
http://www.lb-shop.ru/spares/audi/19.../1440B325.html
That diag shows a lhd and rhd motor - so that would explain why you might have a motor turning the wrong way jvalentine. The guide also says that the motors shown are 5 pin, whereas there are also 4 pin (which mine is)
Fortunately at least my motor appears to be working ok.
