Default replacing tranny mounts - cost estimate?

This forum has been extremely helpful in diagnosing a problem with my A4 Avant. The thud I feel when the transmission (Tiptronic) shifts from 1st to 2nd most likely is a tranny or engine mount I also get vibration when stopped in drive and seems to lessen when put in neutral. Also, the thud seems to happen only after the engine warms up.

Anyway, I'm not mechanically inclined (at least not with the newer cars) and want to know if anyone knows how much a good independent shop would charge to replace a bad tranny mount. Thanks in advance for any help and advice!

DIY for less than 100. Its really really easy and if you can work on Older cars you can easily do this.

I agree with Audisaurus. I got a new one for 30 I think. A shop will probably charge you at least 500 is my guess. **** that nonsense.
