replacing O2 sensor

replacing O2 sensor
So I decided to do a little maintenance on my car by replacing the O2 sensors. I am starting with the front sensor, I have a little problem. The Bosch unit I bought at the store is a universal unit that has a black, white, and 2 gray wires. I pulled the sheathing back on mine, and I have 5 (green, black, red, white, and gray). According to the chart that came with it, black is the signal wire, the 2 gray wires are heater wires, and the gray is ground. Did they give me the wrong one? Its a universal unit, so it doesn't have a factory plug on it. Instead, you cut the wire from the one you are replacing, and put in there splice/harness. Any help?

Sounds like the wrong one. 01's use a wide band style sensor. The new 4 wire universal one you have would be for 97-00. Also I recommend using a solderding iron to fit the old plug to the new sensor instead of that splicing method/box thing they include.
