Replacement stereo
Hi all,
I'm wanting to replace the stock stereo in my 2001 A4 with myTouch screen DVD player, can anyone tell me the colour coding of the wiring & also is it possible to connect my iphone to it so I can control through the touch screen.
Thanks for any help

Radio would have to have iphone support.
Theres either a wiring diagram on the top of your old radio or the internet can helps. Use a wiring adaptor
Amazon.com: Stereo Wire Harness Audi A4 A8 96 97 98 99 (car radio wiring installation parts): Electronics
Easier to do RNS-E upgrade but more expensive.

Hi,
Thanks for reply,
I have the adapter but it's the colour coding from the car I need help with, I know the earth (brown) wire but not sure about where the battery & memory wires go.
I think I'll just get a iphone to RCA CABLE & forget the touch screen lol.
Cheers

Hi,
This is doing my head in LOL,
I've got the ground & got the battery wires from the car but when I connect the ACC wire from the stereo the unit stays powered on constantly even when the keys are removed.
Can anyone please tell me if there is a solution to fix this.
Many thanks for any help.
